This page contains a bunch of recipes that I cook on a semi-regular basis. Some of them I learned from my parents, others from cookbooks (which I will link to) with my own little changes.
Concerning my parent's recipes, they are incredible and I grew up with them and I want to document them, for myself but also for others! Over many phone calls and many trials and errors, I've started narrowing down on some more consistent recipes. Now for the big disclaimer: when I was given the recipes I wasn't really given any set amounts just lots of "put a little this, a bit of that, and taste it and adjust". Through this page, I am trying to settle on those set amounts because I know what each dish is supposed to taste like or look like, but you may not. As such, I will put in big bold letters "WORK IN PROGRESS" on any dishes that may not quite be there yet (this is also going to be my recipe book as I figure these out); cook these dishes at your own peril.
I am also going to add an "Ingredients" page that I hope will help with understanding what some of the ingredients are and how to best store them. (I've had one too many curry leaves dry out on me or get too damp).
